What we do
We publish two things: in-depth buying guides and reviews across tools, kitchen, home, home office, tech and the outdoors, and free decision tools that help you compare value and avoid overpaying. Every guide is organised around the criteria that genuinely affect daily satisfaction — not spec-sheet trivia.
Our editorial principles
- Honesty first. We never fabricate ratings, prices or user quotes. A score reflects our genuine assessment, and where we describe a product category we keep it accurate and generic so the advice stays useful.
- Independence. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no say in our picks. A category winner is often the cheapest option on the page.
- Evidence. Our criteria are grounded in hands-on use, manufacturer documentation, recognised testing and safety standards, and long-term owner feedback. We cite the relevant authority when a claim depends on it.
